About Soul Crystals
There are different types of crystals — red, blue and green, they also have levels — 1-18. Depending on their colour, crystals have special abilities, one of three. Crystals of different levels are required for weapon, depending on its price and power. You can ask the Blacksmith which adds bonuses to weapon about which crystals are required.
For each weapon 3 defined special abilities are possible. You find more about them from the table or from Weapons page in our base.
Rare Soul Crystals
In Goddess of Destruction - Awakening update developers added Rare Soul Crystals to add double special abilities to weapon Grade R and above.

How to obtain a Soul Crystal
- Can be purchased in the Luxury Shop in the Town of Giran (stages 7-12).
- You can get the Soul Crystal of the necessary stage by completing the Enhance Your Weapon quest.

- Soul Crystals Grade R can be purchased for Seals from Adventure Guildsmen.
How to increase a Soul Crystal stage
- To increase a Soul Crystal stage yourself, you need to take the Enhance Your Weapon quest.
- If you’re increasing a Soul Crystal stage lvl 1-10:
- Choose mobs from the list (see Enhance Your Weapon quest);
- You should be having only one Soul Crystal in your inventory;
- You need to fight a mob until it’s HP is below 30%, then use a Soul Crystal on it and finish it off. The Soul Crystal can either increase its level or not. If the Crystal refuses to consume souls, you need to find stronger mobs.
- If you’re increasing a Soul Crystal stage lvl 11 or higher:
- Choose mobs from the list (see Enhance Your Weapon quest);
- You should be having only one Soul Crystal in your inventory;
- Your character needs to be a part of a group which’s almost killed a Raid Boss. The Soul Crystal can either increase its level or not.
Adding a special ability to weapons
- Weapon shouldn’t be equipped;
- Weapon shouldn’t have a PvP bonus.
- For weapon Grade C and B
- You need to bring to a blacksmith in and township the following items: weapon, Soul Crystal of the required stage, a certain amount of Gemstones and payment for work.
- For weapon Grade A and S
- You need to bring to the Blacksmith of Mammon the following items: weapon, Soul Crystal of the required stage, a certain amount of Gemstones.
- For weapon Grade S80 and higher
- You need to bring to Maestro Ishuma in Warf of Gludio Airships the following items: weapon, Soul Crystal of the required stage, a certain amount of Gemstones Grade S.
- Exclusive weapon for Kamael:
- Can be obtained by converting two-handed swords, one-handed warrior swords and bows with
Change Weapon skill;
- Special abilities are equal to those which the weapon had before the change;
- Special abilities can be added to weapon before the change or after it, there’s no difference in cost or special abilities available;
- Can be obtained by converting two-handed swords, one-handed warrior swords and bows with
- All weapon improvements remain the same (attribute, modification, augmentation).
- Bound weapon Grade C - S80:
- Gets a random special ability after unbinding
- Bound weapon grade R and above
- Special abilities are added according to the common rules
- Dual weapon Grade C - S80
- Special ability is added if a weapon is modified by +4 and higher
- Dual weapon Grade R and above (any type, including bound):
- Special ability is added with a Soul Crystal, not with modification by +4.

- C and B Gemstones can be purchased in Stores in villages.
- A, S, R Gemstones can be purchased from Merchant of Mammon.
Special abilities removal
- Blacksmith of Mammon removes them for free.
- Black Marketeer of Mammon removes them for adena.
