About Servitors
General information about Servitors
Some classes in Lineage II have a unique ability to summon special creatures to help — servitors. Each servitor requires a certain amount of crystals or Spirit Ore for summoning, some of them also consume such items during their lives. Servitors let players simplify their hunting process and also give advantage in battles against other players.
Types of Servitors
All summoned creatures can be divided into 2 types: those who can be controlled and those who cannot.
To some extent, the creatures who obey their masters are more useful as players can control them — to specify their attack target, in less lucky moments to make them retreat, or, if necessary, to make them use their special skills. However, a player cannot have more than one creature of the kind. To summon another one, you need to get rid of the one you already have.
The creatures which cannot be controlled, always act on their own accord. It’s up to them to choose the time to attack or to use their skills. Cubes belong to this very type. Cubes are unique artifacts which serve their summoner and either debuff the opponent or support their master and the party. The players who have special skills can have up to three Cubes at once, while other classes can have just one.
Controllable servitors can be summoned only by those who have the following professions, like Warlock, Elemental Summoner, Phantom Summoner, Necromancer, Dark Avenger and Warsmith, while Cubes can be summoned by most of the classes.
Items required for summoning
In either event, all servitors consume crystals or Spirit Ore, depending on their summoner’s class. The higher your summoning skill level is, the more items you’ll need.
Servitors consuming crystals need different types of them - the stronger your creature is, the more expensive are the crystals it consumes. You need to remember that Cubes need such materials for summoning only, while controllable creatures consume them once in a certain period of time. You can see the type and the amount of crystals/Spirit Ore required to summon a servitor by pointing your mouse over the icon of a skill.
Controllable Servitors
Can be summoned by different classes, but only those who have special professions can summon really strong and tough creatures. Servitors consume a certain amount of Spirit Ore once in a certain period of time, which is very convenient if your summoned creature dies before its time.
A servitor can be summoned for a very short time. Once its time is over, the servitor disappears, and you need to summon another one. Servitor energy denoting its lifetime is shown as a green bar in status window.
If you double-click the servitor you control, its interface window will open. You can use it to get info about all characteristics of this creature. You can also use different commands, like Change Movement Mode, Attack, Stop, Unsummon and Move. Besides, in the servitor window you can see all the special skills of the servitor which you can use.
Unlike pets, servitors cannot pick up items, they also cannot put on armor or weapons.
Restrictions on Resummon time
If a servitor is summoned by a low-level mage, it immensely helps its master as its attack and defense characteristics are relatively high. However, there’s a restriction on resummoning such a creature.
If a mage below lvl 40 uses a summoning spell, they can use it again after 4 hours.
If a mage has completed second class change to become a summoner, the timeout is changed and resummoning is possible in less time.

Uncontrolled Servitors
Uncontrolled Servitors are also known as Cubes. They can be summoned by Temple Knights, Shillien Knights, Warlocks, Elemental Summoners и Phantom Summoners, and their respective 3rd classes. Cubes help their masters during hunting and battles with other players. To summon a Cube, you need to have a respective skill and the necessary amount of the required crystals.
Types of Cubes
Each Cube has its own unique ability to impact the summoner, the party or the enemies.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Storm Cubic | Uses wind energy to damage one opponent |
| Vampiric Cubic | Uses black magic to take away opponent’s HP and transfer it to its master. |
| Phantom Cubic | Uses magic that decreases the target's P. Atk., P. Def., and Atk. Spd. |
| Life Cubic | Uses magic to regenerate HP to its owner. |
| Viper Cubic | Uses magic that poisons a targeted enemy. |
| Binding Cubic | Has a unique ability to paralyze the enemy |
| Aqua Cubic | Uses attack magic that inflicts continuous damage to the enemy |
| Spark Cubic | Uses magic that makes the enemy shocked |
| Attractive Cubic | Can continuously use hate and hold magic on the enemy |
| Smart Cubic | Cancels all the bad abnormal conditions which were cast on the master, and uses useful skills additionally |
If your character doesn’t have a Cubic Mastery skill, you can use only one cube at a time. If you have lvl 1 of this skill, you can control 2 cubes, and 3 cubes for lvl 2, respectively.
However, certain classes whose art is summoning magic, can summon cubes for the whole party at once. Each character of Warlock, Elemental Summoner or Phantom Summoner classes have such skills:
- Warlock — Mass Summon Storm Cubic;
- Elemental Summoner — Mass Summon Aqua Cubic;
- Phantom Summoner — Mass Summon Phantom Cubic.
